Ivy Strengths believes...

  • ... that a student's potential is best realized through their strengths. Our ultimate goal is to create a learning culture whereby students:

    Recognize their Strengths.
    Affirm their Strengths.
    Develop their Strengths.
    Apply their Strengths.

Through this process, students are in a better position to achieve their academic goals and find increased fulfillment in the next stages of life.

Chris

I've been hit by the idea of wanting other themes at times. I've also found myself thinking of themes that I never want. Those are the risks of having labels. But, really themes are just guides no matter how we view them. They may describe something that resonates with us (or not), but they are not our identities.

I like that you said "what makes them shine is not the specific strength they have it's that they are using it". I think that's the most important part. And really, when we start to recognize this we not only appreciate our own talents, we appreciate the talents around us and that *other* people have them.
